Welcome to my site. I am Jonathan Shaw, and I am a first time writer. My first book, THE LONELY WALK, is out now by XLIBRIS publishing.
I am notoroiusly camara shy, so dont expect any pictures of myself here.
I live in Hertfordshire, in the south of England. I have worked as many things, including a trolly boy, warehouse worker, telemarketer, door-to-door sales man, office worker and a field service engineer(don't you just love that title!)
When South Park came about, I doscovered on the internet many sites, including fan fiction sites, where fans of the show would write and post thier own stories involving the characters. Some were very good, and I want to contribute, but at the time, I couldn think of anything good. As I read and time went by, I got more and more ideas, and started writing. Then I decided not to follow South Park, and start my own characters.
I have always loved to act and be in the movie. But as a kid, I figured I'd have to be characters and do and say things that wasnt me or I didnt like. So I thought of writing my own stories, playing characters I felt happy with.
After watching the anime METROPOLIS, I was disapointed at the ending (the lead character let a girl fall to her death so stop the island from tearing isself apart), and heartbrokwn, becuase I really wanted the boy and girl to live happily ever after.
So, I started my own story, featuring characters I'd been working in my head for years. Its taken 2 years to complete the lonely walk, so I hope it works well.
I've just had a review. It is wierd, I know! but that the point! it stick in the mind.
I KNOW my book will appeal to mystery fans, and thriller guys. Amuse yourselves with some of the pictures based in my book.
